Themis Recruit are seeking adedicated and experienced Private Client Solicitor to join anesteemed law firm. The successful candidate will providecomprehensive legal advice and services to our private clientsfocusing on wills trusts estates probate and tax planning. Thisrole requires a meticulous clientoriented professional who canmanage complex and sensitive matters with discretion andprofessionalism.

KeyResponsibilities:

  1. ClientManagement:

    • Provide expertlegal advice to clients on wills trusts estates probate andinheritance tax planning.
    • Developand maintain strong client relationships ensuring a high level ofclient satisfaction.
    • Handlesensitive client information with utmost confidentiality anddiscretion.

  2. Willsand Estate Planning:

    • Draftand advise on wills powers of attorney and advanceddirectives.
    • Assist clients withestate planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities and ensuresmooth estateadministration.

  3. Trusts:

    • Createand administer trusts advising clients on the best structures tomeet their needs.
    • Provide ongoingtrust management services including compliance with legal andregulatoryrequirements.

  4. Probateand EstateAdministration:

    • Manage theprobate process including obtaining grants of probate and lettersof administration.
    • Administerestates ensuring all assets are correctly identified valued anddistributed in accordance with the will or thelaw.

  5. TaxPlanning:

    • Advise clients oninheritance tax capital gains tax and other relevant taxissues.
    • Develop and implementeffective tax planning strategies to optimize clients financialpositions.

  6. Complianceand Legal Research:

    • Stayupdated with changes in relevant laws andregulations.
    • Ensure all workcomplies with current legislation and internal policies andprocedures.

  7. BusinessDevelopment:

    • Identifyopportunities for crossselling and promoting the firm sservices.
    • Participate in networkingevents and activities to enhance the firmsprofile.

  8. TeamCollaboration:

    • Workcollaboratively with colleagues within the Private Clientdepartment and otherdepartments.
    • Provide mentorship andguidance to junior staff members asneeded.

Requirements
  • Education:Qualified Solicitor with a current practisingcertificate.
  • Experience: Minimum of3 years experience in private client law with a strong track recordin wills trusts probate and taxplanning.
  • Skills:
    • Exceptionalclient management and interpersonalskills.
    • Strong analytical andproblemsolving abilities.
    • Excellentwritten and verbal communicationskills.
    • High level of attention todetail and accuracy.
    • Ability to workindependently and as part of ateam.
    • Proficiency in legal researchand staying abreast of legislativechanges.


Education: Qualified Solicitor with a current practisingcertificate. Experience: Minimum of 3 years experience in privateclient law, with a strong track record in wills, trusts, probate,and tax planning. Skills: Exceptional client management andinterpersonal skills. Strong analytical and problem-solvingabilities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Highlevel of attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to workindependently and as part of a team. Proficiency in legal researchand staying abreast of legislative changes.
