Our team is driven by integrity, commitment to excellence, and a passion for making a difference in the construction industry. We are currently seeking an enthusiastic Shipper to join our team at our Shipping Office, based in Buxton, Derbyshire. The successful candidate will be a driven and ambitious individual to co-ordinate deliveries in a busy market.  Full training on our products and processes will be provided, ensuring you're well-prepared to meet our high standards.
Key Responsibilities

• Timely & accurate input of all customer concrete orders
• Cost effective dispatch planning (shipping) of all customer orders through active liaison with commercial, operations and transport teams
• Timely response to all customer enquiries and complaints
• Specific support to the pre planning of major contracts or schemes in terms of production and transport capacity planning

 

Skills, Knowledge & ExpertiseThe successful candidate will have a flexible, proactive and versatile approach to work.  You will have an energetic “hands on” approach and the ability to anticipate problems and consider a solution and the ability to negotiate and work collaboratively with colleagues on both a formal and informal level. You will be an excellent communicator (verbal and non-verbal) who can build effective relationships both with colleagues and customers. A genuine interest in the construction materials industry and a commitment to continuous personal and professional development. The Group places the highest importance on sustained standards of excellence in all aspects of Health, Safety and Environmental management and you will be expected to contribute to the Company’s zero harm culture.
