Secondary School Teaching Assistant
Location: Salisbury
Hours: Usually 8.30 - 15.30
Protocol Education are currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Secondary School Teaching Assistant to join a Secondary team in a Salisbury based Secondary School. This role is ideally looking to start for the new academic year, however there may be the chance to start in term 6.
The ideal candidate will be passionate about education and have the ability to inspire and support students to achieve their full potential. Key Responsibilities:
• Assist teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons
• Provide one-to-one support for students who require extra help
• Assist with the planning and preparation of lessons
• Support students in their academic and personal development
• Provide assistance during exams and assessments
• Monitor and report on student progress to teachers and parents
Requirements:
• Previous experience in a similar role is preferable but not essential
• A passion for education and a desire to support young people
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
• Flexibility, adaptability and the ability to work well in a team
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail
