About the Role:

 

The Events Associate will play a key role in supporting and executing event campaigns for our non-profit clients. You’ll work on the ground, interacting with the public face-to-face at events across Manchester to promote causes and drive sales. This role is an excellent entry point into the world of events, sales, and marketing, with ample opportunities for professional growth and development.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Event Support: Assist in the setup, management, and breakdown of events, ensuring everything is in place to create an engaging experience for attendees.
  • Public Engagement: Actively approach and engage with the public at events, sharing information about our clients’ missions and encouraging support through ongoing donations.
  • Sales Execution: Utilize your sales skills to drive donations and achieve set sales targets, playing a crucial role in the success of each event.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with event staff and the management team to ensure seamless event delivery and positive interactions with the public.
  • Client Representation: Represent the values and goals of our non-profit partners with professionalism and enthusiasm, ensuring a high standard of public interaction.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track your sales progress and provide feedback on event outcomes, contributing ideas for campaign improvements and strategies.

Requirements:

  • Full and unrestricted right to work in the UK. We cannot consider Tier 4 or PSW visas, unfortunately.
  • Must not have applied to any of our openings in the past 30 days.
  • Experience in sales, events, or customer-facing roles is an advantage but not essential; we provide full training for the right candidates.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and confidence engaging with the public in a variety of settings.
  • Flexibility to work full-time, with the availability for some evening and weekend events.
  • A proactive, positive attitude and willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
