Our market leading andexpanding client is looking for an experienced Class 2 Driver tojoin their team. Based out of Andover the successful candidate willhave a minimum 2 years HGV experience and due to insurance purposeswill be over the age of 25.

You willbe offered an excellent salary of 35000 for a 45 hour week (noovertime) for candidates with a Moffett Forklift Licence there isscope above this level. Start times are always between 4am6am.

Essential Duties andResponsibilities:

Supervisethe loading of the vehicle so that products are safely loaded andsecured to minimise chances ofdamage.

Ensure with Transport Managerand Loader that the load is correct against the customersorders.

Ensure that on arrival thedelivery is safe to make and respect customer s property; if indoubt consult with customer and/or TransportManager.

Check goods off withCustomers and obtain signature andprint.

Provide excellent customerservice.

Handle customer issues ondelivery effectively and contact Transport Manager for assistanceif required.

Carry out multidropdeliveries in a timely and safemanner.

Drive the vehicle safely andin accordance with the law.

Drivewithin the Working Time Directive Tachograph and Drivers Hoursregulations.

Look after the vehicleand ensure that it is not subjected to unnecessarydamage.

Maintain the cleanliness ofthe driving cab.

Ensure accidents arekept to a minimum.

Report anyaccidents as soon as possible and in compliance with the company saccident reporting procedure.

Complete vehicle daily inspection sheet and give to TransportManager.

Attend essential training inorder to carry out the driver role.

To provide support in the Yard as required by the TransportManager.

Adhere to all companypolicies and procedures to include the Company Standards ofPerformance and Health and SafetyPolicy

Qualificationrequirements:

Minimum Class2 driving licence

Max 6points

Must be over 25 for insurancepurposes

Moffett forklift licencepreferred but not essential as training can begiven.

Minimum 2 years HGV drivingexperience required.
