DT Teacher - Wiltshire

Protocol Education are working with secondary schools in Wiltshire to complete their staffing teams for this academic year.  With that in mind, we are looking for passionate, committed and enthusiastic DT teachers to positvely impact the lives and education of students across the area.

Start Date: ASAP

Closing Date: 4/10/24

Qualified Teachers paid to scale

Plan, prepare and deliver engaging DT lessons to students

Assess and evaluate student progress and provide feedback

Develop and implement effective teaching strategies to enhance learning

Establish a positive and supportive learning environment

Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and student support

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Strong knowledge of the UK National Curriculum for DT principles

Degree in History or related field

Proven experience teaching DT at secondary school level

Strong subject knowledge - Carpentry, Catering, IT etc

Demonstrated ability to engage and motivate students

Excellent understanding of DT concepts and principles

Effective classroom management skills

Strong communication and interpersonal abilities

Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) with DT specialism

Experience working with students of diverse backgrounds and abilitiess
