SEN Teaching Assistant

Work closely with students with special educational needs (SEN), providing tailored support to facilitate their learning and development.
Assist SENCO and teaching staff in implementing individual education plans (IEPs) and ensuring that students receive appropriate accommodations and resources.
Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment, promoting the social and emotional wellbeing of students with SEN.
Collaborate with external agencies, parents, and other stakeholders to ensure a holistic approach to supporting students with SEN.
Requirements:
A genuine passion for education and a desire to make a positive difference in students' lives.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, colleagues, and parents/carers.
Flexibility, resilience, and adaptability in responding to the diverse needs of students and the school community.
For SEN LSAs: Experience working with students with special educational needs and knowledge of relevant strategies and interventions would be advantageous.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
