As a Metering Trainee, you are integral to our team and we would love to see you thrive on the challenges this role presents. Your remit would be installing domestic water meters for customers throughout the Yorkshire Region. The purpose of this role is ensuring all related activities are undertaken safely and in line with industry best practice.

To excel in this role, you'll need to be committed, diligent, and have a strong work ethic. This role requires an individual who is detail-oriented, proactive, and able to communicate effectively. For this role, we're really keen to bring in someone who is passionate about delivering outstanding service to customers. Working with a team of skilled professionals, you’ll be responsible for ensuring all installations are completed safely and to a high standard.

As our next Metering Trainee, you’ll be instrumental in driving the success of our Metering and Customer Related Department. You will be part of a dynamic team responsible for installations and replacements on the Yorkshire Water Network. Your remit will be to support the management team, engage with customers, and ensure all work is carried out in accordance with policies and procedures. This role is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to grow their skills and make a positive impact in the Yorkshire community.

The Key Requirements...

A full and valid UK Driving Licence with no more than 6 points Street works Operative Qualification EUSR Water Hygiene card, Water SHEA Cat and Genny Cat 2 Safe Digging
