Assistant Psychologist FTC 12 months Location: Leeds (Daniel Yorath House) Salary: £25,147 per annum Hours: 37.5 hrs per week  Why join us? MAIN PURPOSE: To work under the clinical supervision of the Consultant Clinical Psychologist to provide psychological support to the neuro-rehabilitation programme at Daniel Yorath House. MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Under the guidance and supervision of the Consultant Clinical Psychologist/Clinical Lead to provide assistance in: -• Behavioural monitoring with observations, data gathering and subsequent analysis.• Collection and presentation of behavioural data for weekly clinical team meeting.• Behavioural modification with writing and maintaining behavioural guidelines with support to the wider staff team in their implementation.• Neuropsychological assessments with the production and presentation of findings.• Supporting individual service users with weekly meetings and specific activities.• To maintain and provide those outcome measures identified within the agreed annual schedule.• To produce behavioural and emotional progress reports for Review Meetings and present these.• Group work (e.g. anger management and life skills).• Training and support of the wider staff team both on induction and written weekly tutorial sessions.• Liaison role between Clinical Lead, Clinical Team and wider staff team regarding understanding and implementation of behaviour management programme.• To undertake any other duties as may from time to time be specified by Brainkind, that are within the level and responsibility appropriate to the grade of the post. We're looking for someone with the following skills and qualities: Upper Second Class Honors Degree (2:1) or higher in psychology or equivalent Eligibility for BPS (British Psychological Society) graduate registration Ability to present and teach others Ability to work independently and reliably Experience of working with adults with complex disabilities REWARDS: You can look forward to excellent benefits, including handy discounts on many brands and services.
