Progress Tracker - Emergency Department - Band 3

Full Time - 12-months fixed term.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an additional Progress Tracker to join the Emergency Department (ED) within the Weston Division of UHBW. There is a position to recruit to hours per week. This broken down equates to x3 shifts a week for 3 weeks, and x4 shifts a week for 1 week of the month. This is a 12-months fixed term shifts will be hours (10:00 - 22:30) with a 2x 30 minutes rest breaks.

We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to support the team in delivering outstanding patient care and maintaining departmental targets, including the 4 hour standard and ambulance handover. This is achieved through ensuring effective patient flow and exceptional organisation throughout the department. This position will be working with a team of five other progress trackers to provide an overall 7 day service.

Main duties of the job

On occasions this will be a busy and challenging job role and will involve multiple problem solving issues on a minute by minute basis. The successful candidate must be organised, forward thinking and able to communicate effectively with all levels of staff. In return, you will receive great job satisfaction and will be supported by the whole leadership team to achieve the ED patient care and service objectives.

Qualifications and Training

Educated to GCSE, grade C or above (or equivalent) in English Language Education to GCSE, grade C or above (or equivalent) in Maths Business and Administration Level 3 NVQ or equivalent experience or demonstrable experience at this level.
