Carry out relevant electrical installation within new or existing substations to ensure compliance with DNO/IDNO specifications Install earth nests/mats to specified drawings Carry out all testing and inspection of installations Ensure compliance with all health, safety, environment & quality polices, procedures and standards at all times, escalating and documenting specific site hazards/conditions, as required

We would love to hear from you if…

You are a qualified electrical fitter/electrician with experience of working in industrial environment and ideally high voltage substations (i.e UKPN, NGC etc) and able to work effectively as part of a team.

In addition, ideally you will possess the following qualifications:

Confined Space A, B & C certifications, EUSR, IPAF, PASMA, and Gas Safety certifications. You should also have proficiency with Ladder Association User & Inspector qualifications, PAT testing, and mechanical fitting, including the installation of Unistrut products, cable trays, cable ladders, and conduits. Additionally, experience in wiring electrical circuits and installing, glanding, and terminating multicore cables into protection panels, SCADA panels, marshalling kiosks, battery chargers, and LVAC panels is essential.

The role also requires skills in installing earth switches and disconnectors, earthing techniques such as brazing and ductor testing, and the ability to read and produce complex wiring diagrams and core sheets.
