Job Description

We are looking for a Golf Retail Assistant to join our team at Dundonald Links in Irvine, Ayrshire. Hourly rate of £11.44

This is a permanent position to work full time hours. This will be across variable days which will include weekends and bank holidays.

This position will start 19th January 2025.

Shift times will vary to cover the shop opening times between 7am - 6:30pm. Flexibility is essential to suit the needs of the business and weekend shifts will be required.

About The Role

Main responsibilities:

The successful Golf Retail Assistant will

·      Assist with the day to day running of the Golf Shop.

·      Assist with Visual Merchandising of all staff areas, stock management , receipt, sku and inventory.

·      Provide excellent customer service.

·      Provide customers with excellent product knowledge.

·      Assist with the running of corporate golf day events.

Additional duties may include:

·      Assisting with other golf operations such as service staff, course ranger and concierge.

Requirements:

Similar previous experience is an advantage. A knowledge of golf is essential for this position. A positive work ethic with a willingness to learn new skills is desirable. A driving licence and the ability to drive is an advantage to enable easy travel to and from the resort.
