What the role entails:

  • Always observe the requirements of the Cash Desk Procedure Manual, Guidelines, policies,directives, and provisions of relevant legislation.
  • Ensure all Company records and paperwork are accurately and comprehensively completed inaccordance with Company policy, reporting any errors and omissions to your manager.
  • Investigating queries from head office or in-casino.
  • Updating points/player tracking for customers.
  • Maintaining all ATM’s.
  • Processing all banking.
  • Actively meet day-to-day customer service needs and respond appropriately to all queries.
  • Actively create a team environment and support other team members where possible.
  • Keep management informed of major players and their transactions or of any unusual incident orevent.
  • Maintain a good working relationship with management and all departments in the Casino.
  • Report and refer to senior colleagues any unusual or major incidents of concern.
  • Notify management immediately of any incident or circumstance which may result in a breach ofthe Gambling Act or Company’s rules and regulations or which may be subject to a formal reportbeing made by the company.
  • Regularly attend employee meetings and training events as and when required.

Compliance with all relevant legislation is a crucial requirement of the role. In particular, Cashiers are expected to be knowledgeable about all Safer Gaming and Anti Money laundering requirements. Cashiers must undertake regular associated training and immediately raise any associated concerns with their line manager when on duty, as per the SG and AML policies.

This position requires working evenings, weekends, and shifts that coincide with a 24/7 trading week so individuals should be flexible in their scheduling. Cashiers will spend a large portion of their shift on their feet working directly with the public.

REQUIRED SKILLS: 

  • Holds a valid Personal Functional Licence (PFL)
  • Numerate
  • Articulate (in English)
  • Personable
  • Customer service focused
  • Computer literate
  • Understand and applies of AML/SG policy requirements to the cashier role and freely asks forsupport or direction to ensure full compliance
