Your New Company
Hays are working in partnership with a leading engineering consultancy based in Lisburn, Northern Ireland to recruit a Structural Engineer to become part of a team working on a variety of major projects throughout the UK.
This consultancy prides themselves on handling different scales of projects and is currently working on a number of major developments throughout the UK. The well-established board of directors takes a hands-on approach with all the projects, providing quality and personal service to their clients.

Your New Role
 
Due to a busy workbook, our client is now looking to expand the existing team and has a need for a Structural Engineer. The main role is to ensure safe, timely completion of projects.
Here are a few responsibilities of a Structural Engineer:

Undertaking technical and feasibility studies and site investigationsDetermining construction costs, local and professional building regulations, environmental impacts, and other factors that can affect project implementation.Developing designs using engineering computer software such as AUTOCAD, Revit, Civil3D  to develop detailed project blueprints.Manage, supervise, and visit contractors on site and advise on civil engineering issues.Work closely with  Senior Engineering TeamWhat you'll need to succeed
 
The successful candidate will have had similar experience working in an engineering consultancy with at least 3 yrs post graduate experience. 
Must be a Degree holder in Civil Engineering, preferably, registered with a professional body. 
You should be conversant with engineering design software, AutoCAD,REVIT, Civil3D and the like. 
You must be a highly motivated individual who can work and communicate effectively within a team setting.
