7.5T Driver

Optime are excited to be recruiting 7.5T Driver in partnership with Avanti Trains. This job offers fantastic hours and overtime opportunities. This is a very enjoyable role with a great company and fantastic conditions and facilities.

As a 7.5T Driver you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our catering and goods arrive with our train clients on time, in-line with various scheduling requirements.

What’s on offer:

• Rate of Pay: £12.83 per hour
• Location: Oxley, Wolverhampton
• Shift Pattern: Saturday & Sunday
• Hours: Start time between 6:00PM -6:30PM ( 7,5h )
• Full training provided
• Immediate Start
• Temp to Perm (performance-based)

Key Duties:

• Delivery to BHM Station or Wolverhampton Station
• Transport carts to the train and gather them.
• Loading and unloading your own vehicles 7.5T.
• Completing transport documents
• Inspect the truck before and after each trip, reporting any issues or maintenance needs.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption.
• Communicate with dispatch to receive delivery instructions and updates.
• Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with customers.

Requirements:

• Must hold a valid C1 manual driving licence.
• Must hold a valid Driver CPC Card
• Must hold a valid Digi card
• Maximum of 6 points on your licence allowed.
• Flexible and enthusiastic approach to work
• Must be able to use a computer, basic Excel and communication of English
• Ability to demonstrate our core values
• Basic numeracy skills
• Basic Checking skills
