The Team:

Invesco’s Market Data Services (MDS) Administration team manage the commercial relationships between Invesco and its market data vendors. They are responsible for a budget of approximately $140M of recurring subscription spend each year and allocate these cost across 2000 employees. The team serve investment colleagues and build strong relationships with internal clients.

What we are we looking for:

We are looking for a bright, curious and self-motivated Analyst to join our well-established team. The MDS team are strongly client and commercially focused, so this individual must have excellent inter-personal skills with an ability to resolve conflict and negotiate solutions.

The successful individual will need to:

Maintain process documentation for workflows relating to the invoice and MDS pricing update processes

Process vendor invoices verified against contractual obligations to verify accurate billing and allocations within the Market Data Services inventory system (i.e.: FITS: Optimize Spend)

Deal with vendors on billing queries to resolve invoice variances and update MDS inventory system

Provide a full range of MDS administrative support whilst maintaining all aspects of the market data inventory system to manage over $140m MDS spend globally

Assist with the flow of new contracts through internal Legal teams and ensure use policies and procedures are followed globally

What you can bring:

Experience of working within the Investment Services industry

Good knowledge and confidence with using Excel

Experience of vendor invoicing and MDS business principles

Experience of managing an MDS inventory system from one of the key providers - ideally Optimize Spend knowledge

Organized and self-motivated - able to use own initiative and function either in isolation or working as part of a team

A structured and disciplined approach to carrying out tasks with particular attention to detail is essential

Capable of working under time constraints and to deadlines
