Job Title: GCSE Tutor

 

Location: South East England, Berkshire, Sleugh

Job Type: Temporary, Part-Time

Salary: £20 - £30 Per hour

 

Job Duties:
  • Provide high-quality tutoring to GCSE level students in various subjects.
  • Develop individualised lesson plans based on student needs and curriculum requirements.
  • Assess student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly.
  • Prepare students for GCSE examinations by covering key topics and practising exam questions.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues regarding student progress and concerns.

 

Required Experience:
  • Experience in tutoring or teaching GCSE level subjects.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

 

Knowledge and Skills:
  • Thorough understanding of the GCSE curriculum and examination requirements.
  • Strong subject knowledge in at least one GCSE subject area.
  • Ability to motivate and engage students in their learning.

 

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Postgraduate qualification in Education or relevant field.
  • Experience in teaching students with diverse learning needs.

 

Working Conditions:
  • Part-time hours, typically evenings and weekends.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
