This is a dynamic andnurturing independent school that is looking for a passionate anddedicated Year 6 teacher to join their team from January 2025. Thisis a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher to work witha bright and motivated class preparing them for the next excitingstep in their educationaljourney.

About theRole
This temporary position will run untilJuly 2025 with the possibility of a permanent role from September2025. As a Year 6 teacher you will play a key role in ensuring thechildrens academic success particularly in preparation for theirtransition to secondary school. You will inspire curiosityencourage independent learning and foster a love of learning inyour students.

KeyResponsibilities

  • Delivercreative engaging lessons that inspire and challenge Year 6pupils.
  • Prepare students for key assessmentsand their transition to secondaryschool.
  • Monitor and assess students progressproviding timely and constructivefeedback.
  • Foster a positive inclusive classroomenvironment that supports individualdevelopment.
  • Work collaboratively withcolleagues to enhance the curriculum and support schoolinitiatives.
  • Communicate effectively withparents keeping them informed of studentprogress.

AboutYou

  • Qualified TeacherStatus (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Previous experienceteaching Year 6 (or equivalent) in a primary schoolsetting.
  • Strong knowledge of the Year 6curriculum and SATs preparation.
  • A creative andenthusiastic approach to teaching andlearning.
  • Excellent communication andinterpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to fosteringeach childs personal and academicdevelopment.
  • Ability to work effectively aspart of a supportiveteam.
