Job Description

We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused Waiting Staff to join our team in Rochester, United Kingdom. As a vital part of our front-of-house team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests have a memorable dining experience.

Greet and seat guests, providing a warm and friendly welcome Take food and beverage orders accurately, offering menu recommendations when appropriate Serve food and drinks efficiently, ensuring proper presentation and timing Maintain a thorough knowledge of our menu, including ingredients, preparation methods, and potential allergens Process payments and handle cash and card transactions accurately Ensure tables are promptly cleared and reset for incoming guests Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service and address any guest concerns Maintain a clean and tidy dining area, adhering to health and safety regulations Assist with opening and closing procedures as required
Qualifications
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and professional demeanour Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Passion for delivering exceptional customer service Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and carry trays of food and drinks Basic maths skills for handling bills and payments Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential Willingness to learn and expand skills in the hospitality industry Positive can-do attitude and ability to work effectively in a team
