Step Teachers are working with a primary school in Enfield to find a dedicated Reception Class Teacher. This school has a vibrant and welcoming environment where pupils thrive, feel safe and supported by kind peers and attentive adults. This is a long-term teaching role to start in January 2025.
Reception Class Teacher – Role:
- Plan and deliver engaging and dynamic lessons.
- Strong knowledge of the curriculum at Reception level.
- Upkeep a tidy, organised classroom with accessible resources where needed.
- Work effectively with other members of staff, both within the classroom, and throughout the school.
- Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and monitor their academic growth.
- Willingness to comply with the schools’ policies and implement them effectively.
Reception Class Teacher – Requirements:
- Hold QTS or an equivalent qualification.
- Have a good level of classroom and behaviour management.
- Mainstream school-based experience as a Reception Class Teacher.
