As a Graduate Audio Designer, you will have the opportunity to kickstart your career in the game development industry. You will be working alongside the talented members of the Audio Team here at Lighthouse, whilst honing your craft: creating outstanding audio effects and filling our world with sound. You will also be collaborating with other specialisms – game designers, programmers, and artists

Key Duties Include

  • Collaborating with audio and development teams to understand the audio vision of the game
  • Assisting in designing and implementing sound effects to enhance the player experience
  • Capturing, editing, and implementing audio assets into the game engine
  • Testing and iterating on audio features and effects based on feedback

Requirements

  • Positive and Proactive attitude towards problem solving and teamwork
  • Proficient with audio production software
  • Solid understanding of recording and audio production
  • Understanding of game audio middleware solutions (e.g. Wwise, FMOD)
  • Keen ear for detail
  • Passionate about video games and sound design
  • Experience using Unreal Engine 4 or 5
  • Experience using REAPER
