Shift patterns: Monday to Friday 0600
Location: Eastleigh , Southampton (SO53 4ND)

DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business is seeking a HGV T Home Delivery Driver to play a vital role in our distribution service.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

As part of your normal duties, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will:

Working a Monday to Friday 0600 start , alongside a drivers mate carrying out home delivery on behalf of client . Very manual work , heavy lifting, involving two person lifts including all White Goods and Furniture for home delivery . Will also include installation of White goods and full training will be given . Drive in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations Comply with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations

WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?

You will hold a valid HGV Tonne Driving Licence (C1), Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card. You will need to be physically fit as this involves heavy lifting , including two person lifts . Experience of home delivery would be preferred .
