A little bit about the role...

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Reporting Accountant at LAD.

As part of a growing PLC, you will be joining a team where there are plenty of opportunities for growth within a supportive, high performing and collaborative team.

Joining two other Reporting Accountants, you will participate in the accounting and reporting activities for LBG Media PLC and its subsidiaries across multiple territories, and will be responsible for producing timely, accurate and relevant management accounts.

What will you be doing?  

  • Ownership of the preparation of monthly management accounts
  • Accurately recognising revenue, cost of sales and overheads by division
  • Preparation of balance sheet reconciliations across the group companies, including divisional accruals and prepayments, accrued and deferred income, and other key areas
  • Ensuring transactions are correctly posted within the balance sheet and P&L in accordance with the correct accounting treatment and standards
  • Collaborating with the other Reporting Accountants to produce the monthly management accounts including P&L, cash flow, and balance sheet per entity and consolidated Group management accounts
  • Contributing to a strong control environment and driving continuous improvement in processes across the Group
  • Support with year end and interim audit requests

What we’re Looking For  

We are looking for an ambitious and motivated qualified accountant with a proven track record in preparing monthly management accounts.

The ideal candidate has exceptional Excel skills, a keen eye for detail, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate also has the ability to identify issues, propose solutions, and take proactive steps to address them as well as the ability to take ownership and manage workloads to tight deadlines.
