Shift patterns: Nights, 2130-0600
Location: Avonmouth - BS35 4DF

DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business is seeking an experienced Warehouse Operative to play a vital role coordinating our daily warehouse and distribution requirements.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

As part of your normal duties, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will:

undertake the manual handling, distribution and monitoring of materials in a warehouse environment. assist with the unloading/ loading of vehicles and the checking-in of stock. working within a chilled/ ambient environment

Previous practical experience as a Warehouse Operative, within a logistics environment or similar role and be familiar with all Manual Handling Procedures ( Desirable) Previous experience of the preparation and distribution of volume orders Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage your own workload

A recognised qualification in Manual Handling or equivalent will be well-received.
