Job summary
Weare looking for a highly motivated individual that wishes to extend theirdermatology experience within community services. The candidate must possessfull GMC registration, MRCP or equivalent. The candidate must have experiencein undertaking dermatological procedures without supervision. The role requiresCommunity based dermatological consultations and follow ups to be undertakenfor Adults and Children and performing surgical procedures. The candidatesshould have excellent interpersonal skills to communicate with patients, havethe ability to work within a team and independently, have good time keepingskills to ensure the clinics run smoothly and on time.
Main duties of the job
Follow patients, plan, implement and evaluate evidence-basedcare in line with NICE guidelines, British Association of Dermatologistprotocols and business Standard operating procedures.;
Provide specialist advice to patients, families andcarers and the wider multi-disciplinary team;
Carryout specialist dermatosurgicalprocedures; including punch biopsies, shave excisions, full excisions and usingcautery as well as cryotherapy
Contribute to the service and referring GPs throughdeveloping and delivering education and training;
Contribute to the development ofservices;
Work collaboratively and attend meetings with themultidisciplinary team to ensure the cohesive management of patients.;
Seeing surgical and follow up patients

Job responsibilities
Marketand promote the Community Dermatology service within contract area, targetingGP refers to ensure appropriate activity levels.
Reviewof business clinical protocols/policies in line with Dermatology guidelines
Attendspecifically designed reflective learning sessions, schedules and serviceimprovement initiative events
Coordinateand conduct GP education events
Supporton prescribing formulary in line with cost profile and patient requirements
Ensuringany pathology specimens are accurately labelled and transported to correctdestination for pick up by patient transport to local pathology labs.
Reviewpatients healthcare leaflets for condition utilised during the clinics toensure appropriateness for condition.
Undertaketriaging of referrals and pathologies into service ensuring correct patientpathway selection.
Dutieswill vary depending on business needs / requirements
