Business Development Executive

A leading name in the pharmaceutical and health distribution industry is seeking a dynamic Business Development Executive to join their growing team. Since its founding in 1999, the company has provided bespoke distribution services to wholesalers, pharmacies and hospitals. Now, they are looking for an individual to help expand their sales across the UK.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Proactively develop and secure new business opportunities with through direct phone sales.
- Maintain and manage a database of target customers, ensuring timely and professional follow-ups.
- Build a strong understanding of the company’s diverse product range to effectively engage with potential customers.
- Manage order processing, produce accurate quotations, and maintain customer accounts.
- Meet daily and monthly targets.
- Previous experience in business development or telesales is preferred.
- Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
- Proven ability to work to targets and deadlines, with a results-focused attitude.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Highly organised, with great attention to detail.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
