Key Purpose:
- Promoting high expectations of all students and ensuring they are 'ready, respectful, and safe.'
- Coordinating the administration of the Expectations Policy and supporting students in meeting these expectations.
- Being the first point of contact for student concerns related to behaviours and expectations, ensuring appropriate support is provided.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Managing and responding to student behaviours, triaging and allocating support as needed.
- Conducting regular site walks during lesson times and breaks to monitor and support student behaviours.
- Tracking and monitoring student behaviours to identify trends and implement effective interventions.
- Communicating with parents, carers, and external support services as necessary.
- Playing a role in rewards and recognition initiatives to celebrate student achievements.
- Supporting strategies to improve attendance and reduce truancy.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role or education-related positions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage challenging behaviours and support students effectively.
- Knowledge of safeguarding protocols and procedures.
- Flexibility to work during school hours and engage with various stakeholders.
