Job Type: Part time, Permanent, 16 hours per week

PAY RATE: £11.44 per hour

ABM UK, a leading provider of integrated facility solutions, is currently seeking an Environmental Operative to join our team. As an Environmental Operative with ABM UK, you will play a crucial role in maintaining clean and safe environments for our clients across the UK.

Responsibilities:

• Primarily - to ensure there are shopping trolleys available to the general public and ensure they are collected and housed in the allocated areas provided.

• Carry out environmentally friendly cleaning procedures in accordance with ABM UK's standards and guidelines
• Ensure effective waste management and recycle practices
• Maintain cleanliness of public spaces, restrooms, and communal areas
• Operate cleaning equipment and tools with care and in compliance with safety guidelines
• Adhere to health and safety regulations and best practices
• Respond promptly to client requests and reports of maintenance issues

Requirements:

• Prior experience working in a similar role, preferably within the facilities management industry
• Knowledge of environmentally friendly cleaning practices and procedures
• Attention to detail and a high standard of cleanliness
• Good verbal communication skills and ability to work well in a team
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required
• Valid driver's license is preferred
