As a SEN Tutor, you understand the importance of tailoring the learning experience to the individual, and are adept at identifying effective strategies for each student.

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team, providing individualised learning for students who may struggle with the traditional school curriculum. Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct 1-1 or small group tutoring sessions tailored to the individual or group needs.
  • Identify and address students' areas of difficulty, while also recognising their strengths and developing work accordingly.
  • Maintain regular communication with students, parents, and school professionals to monitor progress and adjust lessons as needed.
  • Implement evidence-based strategies to support students' academic progress and emotional well-being.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • Prior experience in the SEN sector, working with students with mental health or additional needs. Experience with Autism is highly desirable.
  • Experience teaching core subjects up to GCSE level.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive and effective relationships with students.
  • Patience, empathy, and a sincere interest in making a positive impact on students' lives.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
