Location: London or Portsmouth. Hybrid working applies. 3 days minimum in the office.

Where do you fit in?

You’ll report directly in to the Senior Engineering Manager of Marketplace, where you will have a direct impact in Checkatrades vision by fuelling the growth of our customer base, improving engagement and the retention of our users. You will work collaboratively with the Marketing, Analytics, Data and Product teams where you will be working on full stack changes to build and improve our audience management and communication capabilities. In addition, you will be heavily involved in researching and implementing improvements using the latest and greatest technology provider and techniques and finding advantages to make our systems best in class. What do you need to succeed?

  • 5+ years of experience as an engineering leader, ideally 3 years managing teams in a MarTech, consumer web or growth function
  • Prior experience working on growth/onboarding/funnel/martech teams
  • A desire to learn and implement best-in-class marketing technologies and techniques to level up our organisation
  • Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders – Marketing, Compliance, Product and other Engineering teams
  • An act-like-an-owner mentality. We have a bias towards taking action
