Position Overview

Shelve collections in a prompt and efficient manner. Assist with processing and organizing collections, as well as fulfilling requests from Cultural Services staff.

Duties and Responsibilities

Organizing Materials:
• Shelve collections in established order (e.g. Dewey Decimal classification)
• Tidy shelves
• May assist with program preparation/delivery
• Assist with locating materials to fulfill requests
• Assist with processing collections
• Assist with organizing collections

General:
• Incumbents must possess the physical ability to meet the duties and responsibilities of the job description and/or the requirements identified within the position's Physical Demands Analysis.

Qualifications

Minimum Formal Education:
• Must be enrolled in a high school or post-secondary program
