ELECTRICAL PRODUCTION TECHNICIAN – WATER TECHNOLOGIES
NORWICH
What you will be doing:
An opportunity has arisen for a Electrical Production Technician to join the team with Lintott, who are part of the Galliford Try Group.
Ideally, you will based in or around the Norwich area.
Lintott Control Systems is a multi-award winning Process Solutions Provider.
We specialise in the design, manufacture & after-care of factory-built, packaged Water & Wastewater Treatment Systems, Process Software/Systems Integration & Electrical Control Panels.
This role would suit somebody from an electrical/electrician background (commercial or domestic), who is skilled in electrical installation and wiring.
We’re seeking a highly motivated hands-on team player to ensure our products are built in an efficient and timely manner in line with designs, specifications and production schedules.
The nature of work can include the electrical installation, wiring (in accordance with IET Wiring Regulations), assembly of control panels and manufacture of copper work.
Day to day, you’ll be checking that items issued comply with job parts lists, reporting any problems, errors or shortages to Production Management. You’ll be responsible for preparing finished equipment for dispatch, loading and unloading vehicles as required and liaising effectively with all colleagues and external stakeholders.
As and when required, you might need to attend site and assist with site-based activities, such as installation.

Essential:
Ability to interpret electrical drawings. Ability to meet production schedule within time allowed. Transferrable experience in a similar role or relevant industry Excellent knowledge of Health and Safety in the Workplace.Desirable:
A good understanding of control panel manufacture. Site working experience. Experience of Continuous Improvement.Technical / Professional Qualifications Required
Essential:
GCSE above grade ‘C’ in English, Maths and Science.Desirable:
City and Guilds level in Electrical Engineering, or similar. Qualified to current edition of the IET Wiring Regulations.You will also be able to demonstrate the following key attributes.
