As a Print maintenance operative, you will be responsible for inspecting, troubleshooting, and maintaining the printing devices. You will learn how the devices work and complete the daily, weekly and monthly maintenance on them ensuring minimum downtime across the printing presses.

Salary is £23k + depending on experience

Duties include the following, yet others may be assigned to the needs of the business:

  • To help maintain the print presses to a high standard by following maintenance procedures
  • To refurbish print press parts to a high standard
  • To replenish print press stock when required
  • Ensure machines are correctly prepared, maintained and clean at all times
  • Always Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Maintain timely and regular communications with line manager regarding machine condition
  • To carry out any other reasonable request from a supervisor/manager
  • Comply with all company and HSE Health and Safety guidelines
