Job Opportunity: Language Teacher (Maternity Cover)

Are you a vibrant, passionate educator with a knack for igniting the love of languages in students? Look no further We're seeking a dynamic and adaptable teacher to join our team and inspire young minds in Spanish and French.

Position: Language Teacher (Maternity Cover) Start Date: September 2024 Location: [Chepstow]

About the Role: As a Language Teacher, you'll play a pivotal role in fostering language proficiency and cultural appreciation among our students. You'll be responsible for delivering engaging Spanish lessons to KS3 students and nurturing French skills across KS3, KS4, and KS5. This temporary role offers a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact while covering for a colleague on maternity leave.

What We're Looking For:

  • Dynamic and enthusiastic individuals with a genuine passion for teaching languages.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students, creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
  • Proficiency in both Spanish and French, with experience teaching these languages at various levels.
  • Adaptability to tailor teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills, essential for effective classroom management and collaboration with colleagues.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Languages, or related field.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
  • Previous experience teaching Spanish and French in a school setting is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with KS3, KS4, and KS5 curriculum frameworks.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
