Job Description:

Mandatory Qualifications:

1. Staff resource must have a minimum of five (5)years of working experience with Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) andMicrosoft Power BI with a sound knowledge of database managementdata modeling business intelligence SQL querying data warehousingand online analytical processing (OLAP)
2. Staffresource must have five (5) years of experience working with OACand Power BI. This experience should include monitoring theperformance of reports and taking corrective action to optimize orimprove the performance of the reports when necessary.
3. Staff resource must have experience with selfservice datapreparation using OAC and Power BI dataflows. Familiarity withintegrating OAC/Power BI dataflows and applying ETL at scale andsetting up dataflow refresh schedules.
4. Staffresource must have a minimum of three (3) years of verifiableexperience specific to Power BI and/or Tableau report andvisualization development.

DesiredQualifications

1. Familiaritywith data governance data security and data privacyregulation
2. Basic understanding of measures andfacts as frame for interacting with data.

JOBRESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Developtest and implement dashboards and reports from data within theOracle Autonomous Data Warehouse utilizing either Oracle AnalyticsCloud (OAC) and/or Microsoft Power BI
2. Understand the Business Users requirements in OAC/PowerBI context and design data models to transform raw data intomeaningful insights
3. Develops Testing ApproachPlan and Documentation of Results
4. DevelopsRequirements Specifications (e.g. ability to publish to webidentification and protection of PII data etc)
5. Develops Design Specifications
6. Develops a feedback mechanism to allow users to reportissues with existing reports
7. Builds andmaintains report catalog
8. Gathers feedback toimprove and expand on existing reports to better meet businessneeds
9. Conduct performance tuning andoptimization of dashboard and reporting solutions for efficient andeffective data retrieval and visualization
10. Understands best practices for report lifecyclemanagement version control and data governance.
11. Creates a user interface to ensure reports and dashboardsare organized and easily accessible
12. Ensuresreport availability and performance
13. Mentorsand educates team members on best practices and industrystandards
