Job Title: Field Test Engineer

Location: BostonMA

JobDescription:

  • To supportMBTA RLOL Signals Upgrade project performing Electrical field testactivities focused on Wayside Signaling under the T&C Managersdirection.
  • Execute test activities under thedirection of Alstom Test engineers and manager.
  • Fill out test documentation such as: test data sheetsdiscrepancy lists daily reports progress reports (KPIs)

Requirement:

  • Work experience on Electrical tools like Track SnifferScope meter Shunting multimeter
  • Knowledgeableon Computer and Network systems: Windows WireShark SSHtelnet.
  • Experience in working on fieldenvironments train control rooms or bungalows waysidetracks.
  • Experience in executing tests onswitch machines track circuits (PF and AF) signals microprocessors(VPI Microlok and/or Electrologix)
  • Knowledgeable on Signaling systems: Signaling principlesTroubleshooting Software installation Log retrieval
