Job Overview:
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Support Workers to provide care and assistance to individuals in need. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being and comfort of our clients. This position requires excellent interpersonal skills, patience, and the ability to provide quality care.
Duties:
- Provide support and assistance to individuals in their daily activities
- Assist with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding if necessary
- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment
- Provide companionship and engage in meaningful activities with clients
- Monitor and report any changes in client's condition or behaviour
- Assist with transportation to appointments or outings as needed
Experience:
- Previous 12 months experience in UK Care Sector essential
- Knowledge of patient care techniques and practices
- Familiarity with medication administration procedures
- Experience in home care, senior care, assisted living, or childcare is a plus
- First aid certification is desirable

- Ability to build rapport with clients and their families

What we do
We are a well-established, nationwide healthcare provider. Our homes are Specialist Mental Health Services and established, offering adults person-centred care. We carefully develop and adapt homes to meet the varying needs of adults with mental health needs. The services are carefully located within thriving communities, offering a variety of educational, recreational and social activities.
We provide a positive impact on the service experience of people with mental health difficulties who may be experiencing emotional distress. This primarily involves support using a person-centred approach. Our Support Workers measure outcomes specifically to an individual’s needs and evidence using our person-centred outcome-measuring tool.
Successful candidates will be required to complete an enhanced DBS disclosure prior to commencement of employment, the disclosure expense will be met by the employer.
