As a QSHE Manager, you will be part of a team delivering an exceptional, distinctive, and consistent operational safety experience, which creates an environment where our teams can thrive and carry out their best work. You will be assisting the team in providing an advisory and guidance service across all parts of the business including survey, design, and construction to ensure safe working practices are established and maintained.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

Monitoring business wide compliance and owning, the Dalkia Quality Management Procedures. Supporting the operations teams in reviewing high risk and critical Risk Assessments. Carrying out HSEQ audits and inspections. Investigating causes of quality problems and proposing solutions. Ensuring production and implementation of project and contractor Quality Control Plans. Reviewing Quality Plans (I&TP) from suppliers and sub-contractors. Working with the Design team in the planning phases of a project and help develop the construction phase plan. Monitoring projects by doing periodic Quality Control Audits. Implementing improvements to installation processes that lead to overall increases in product quality. Providing expert resource for investigations into incidents and near misses, illnesses, and injuries; establishing root causes and making recommendations for changes and improvements. Working on a range of HSEQ initiatives and improvement projects. Supporting the business and project teams in maintaining accreditation and ensuring compliance to the ISO 9001 and 14001 standards currently held and in addition be an integral part of the team working towards gaining ISO 45001 by the end of 2023. Knowledge, Skills, Education & Experience

NEBOSH construction qualification or equivalent. Knowledge of the Construction Design Management (CDM) regulations and Principal Contractor responsibilities. Quality management experience would be advantageous. Very strong interpersonal, collaboration and communication skills and the ability to build relationships. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to challenge and champion change.
