GSL Education are looking for SEN Graduates to work at client Special Needs Schools starting on November 2024 in the York area. As a SEN Graduate you will gain solid experience working within the SEN sector which will be of great value to aspiring Graduates looking for immediate employment opportunities

 

The position:

  • Supporting students that have special educational needs including ASC, SEMH and PMLD
  • Working alongside the class teacher and other learning support assistants to raise the attainment of students.
  • Using initiative to create an engaging and motivating learning environment for all students.

To be successful:

  • Experience mentoring, tutoring or teaching is advantageous, but not essential.
  • You must have a passion for education and inspiring pupils to reach their full potential.
  • You must be compassionate, hardworking, proactive and resilient.
  • You must be committed to safeguarding, pupil welfare and following all school policies rigidly.
  • You must be able to adapt and respond quickly and appropriately to a variety of situations.
  • You must be in possession of an enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to pay and apply for one through GSL Education
