Job summary

The fellows will be assessed through regular meetings with theclinical supervisors to make sure career progression and also the passionate todevelop higher surgical skills despite in a permanent post.

Qualifications

Essential

Eligible for full GMC registration with Licence to Practise at the time of appointment MRCS or equivalent

Desirable

ALS Certification Postgraduate qualification

Clinical Experience

Essential

Clinical training and experience equivalent to that required at ST3 level in General Surgery Ability to offer clinical opinion on range of problems both emergency and elective within specialty Ability to take responsibility for clinical care of patients Knowledge of subspecialties where specified

Ability to organise and deliver teaching across the whole undergraduate curriculum Experience of medical teaching
