About the Role:

Teaching Personnel is looking for an inspiring and dedicated MFL Teacher to join a vibrant secondary school in Exeter. This role is ideal for a language enthusiast who is passionate about helping students develop their language skills and cultural awareness. The successful candidate will teach Modern Foreign Languages (preferably French and/or Spanish) to secondary students, creating a dynamic learning environment that encourages language acquisition and confidence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging MFL lessons aligned with the national curriculum.
  • Teach French, Spanish, or another language, inspiring a love for languages and cultural diversity.
  • Adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students at different learning levels.
  • Monitor and assess students’ progress, providing constructive feedback to foster growth.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to support the MFL department’s goals and initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a specialization in MFL.
  • Experience teaching French, Spanish, or other languages at secondary level.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Passion for languages and a commitment to inspiring students.
  • An understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
