This Apprenticeship is an 18-month course with an end point assessment. It is delivered online whilst you deliver the job.

You must be available to attend an assessment afternoon on the 2nd July 2024.

You must be able to start on the 2nd September 2024.

As our next Business Admin Apprentice, you’ll be instrumental in ensuring the safety of our streetworks compliance is delivered to the highest of standards. You will organise and plan all work orders effectively in line with business KPI’s and Performance Commitments alongside managing highways expectations and legislation. To excel in this role, you'll need to be organised and detail-oriented.

This role is essential in guaranteeing the compliance of our Streetworks team and ensuring adherence to legislation to avoid penalty charges. You will work closely with operational teams, Backfill and Reinstatement teams, and act as a point of contact for escalations. You will be involved with overseeing all appropriate jeopardy reporting to minimize avoidable cost risk.

In this role, you won't be complacent, as your day to day activities will include permit closures, challenge defect reports, and ensuring all FPN's are resolved in a timely manner following business protocols. You will have the opportunity to identify and implement best practices within the contract in association with Operations and the client.

You’re not the type to shy away from challenges, and you would thrive on the opportunity to develop experience within Streetworks. You'll enjoy the chance to engage with the Streetworks team to implement best practices.

This role is crucial in ensuring the compliance of our Streetworks team and avoiding penalty charges through adherence to legislation.

Good IT skills including Microsoft packages You must hold GCSE A-D or 9-4 in English and Maths Desire to build a career within Streetworks/utilities A full valid UK driving licence is essential for this position Effective communication skills both verbal and written
