Job Description:
We are looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support primary students in their academic and social development. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers to provide individualised support, assist with classroom management, and contribute to creating a positive and engaging learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Support Learning: Assist students with their academic work, providing one-on-one or small group support as needed.
- Classroom Assistance: Help with the preparation and organization of classroom materials and resources.
- Behaviour Management: Support teachers in managing classroom behavior and maintaining a positive learning environment.
- Individualized Support: Work with students who have special educational needs or disabilities (SEND) to ensure they receive tailored support.
- Supervision: Supervise students during break times, lunchtime, and other school activities.
- Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with teachers, parents, and other staff members to support student progress.
- Administrative Tasks: Assist with administrative duties such as maintaining student records and preparing reports.

Qualifications and Skills:
- Experience: Previous experience working with primary-aged children, preferably in an educational setting.
- Education: A minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths (or equivalent); additional relevant qualifications are a plus.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work collaboratively as part of a team; strong organisational skills.
- Attributes: Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
