Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate QTS Primary Teacher to join our friendly and inclusive primary school in Hillingdon. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons across Key Stages 1 and 2, fostering a love of learning and ensuring high standards of teaching and learning are maintained.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver creative and stimulating lessons in line with the National Curriculum for students across Key Stages 1 and 2.
  • Foster a positive and nurturing classroom environment where every child feels supported and encouraged to achieve their potential.
  • Use a range of teaching methods to ensure all pupils are engaged and make progress, differentiating instruction to meet the needs of individual learners.
  • Monitor, assess, and track student progress, providing regular feedback to students, parents, and senior leadership.
  • Manage classroom behavior effectively in line with school policies, promoting a respectful and safe learning environment.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, sharing best practices and contributing to the school’s curriculum development.
  • Participate in staff meetings, school events, and extracurricular activities as required.
  • Stay informed of educational best practices and developments, and continuously seek to improve your teaching methods.
Key Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching across Key Stages 1 and/or 2.
  • A passion for primary education and a commitment to inspiring young learners.
  • Strong classroom management skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students.
  • Knowledge of the National Curriculum and experience in delivering high-quality lessons that lead to positive learning outcomes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.
  • A commitment to continuous professional development and staying up to date with educational developments.
  • A collaborative approach to teaching, with the ability to contribute positively to a team environment.
Desirable:
  • Experience working with students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
  • A subject specialism or experience leading a specific area of the curriculum.
  • Familiarity with the use of assessment and tracking tools to monitor pupil progress.
