Teacher of English

Your new company 
We are seeking an experienced English Teacher to for a secondary school job in Durham. The ideal candidate should have a strong passion for teaching English and an ability to inspire and motivate students.
Your new role 
- Plan and deliver high-quality English lessons to secondary school students.
- Develop and implement effective lesson plans and schemes of work.
- Set and mark assignments, homework, and exams.
- Monitor and evaluate student progress, providing regular feedback and support.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement strategies for improving student outcomes.
- Participate in school events and activities as required.

What you\'ll need to succeed 
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in English.
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality English lessons.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Passionate about teaching and committed to student success.
What you\'ll get in return 
Location: Durham
Duration: April until July 2024
Salary: Competitive day rate
Job Type: Full-time, Monday to Friday
