Job title: Inspection Finisher

Location: Macfarlane Labels, Macfarlane Labels, 22 Bentinck Street, Kilmarnock, Scotland, KA1 4AS.

Hours of Work: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8 am - 4 pm

The company has opportunities for an Inspection Finisher working in our Macfarlane Labels (part of Reflex Group) site at Kilmarnock. 

Job Description:

This role will report directly to the Print Manager and will be an integral part of the Inspection Finishing team. As an inspection finishing operator, your duties include ensuring that the rolls of paper are wound to specified lengths, feeding paper from the master roll into a machine that will measure off the lengths required for the new roll, and removing the new rolls. Your job also includes maintenance and calibration of your equipment.

This role is the final inspection of printed products prior to shipment to the customer along with other relevant duties expected in this area. A keen eye for detail and a willingness to work under pressure at times is essential

Checking the printed Reels for accuracy and errorsSome lifting may be involvedRewinding/Finishing jumbo printed rolls

 Experience with A B Graphic & Bar Graphic Machinery with AVT inspection is an advantage however not essential as we will provide training.

More important than the above we are looking for reliable, quality-conscious people with an eye for detail.
