What Will You Be Doing?

As a Nursery Practitioner, you’ll play a vital role in helping young children grow, learn, and develop. You’ll create a safe, welcoming, and stimulating environment where each child is encouraged to thrive.

  • Care & Safety: Provide the highest standard of care in a secure, happy environment, ensuring children feel safe, loved, and valued.
  • Inspire & Engage: Plan and deliver creative, fun, and engaging activities that inspire curiosity and support the development of key skills.
  • Key Person Role: Build strong, trusting relationships with children and parents to ensure every child’s individual needs are met, from learning goals to emotional well-being.
  • Curriculum Delivery: Collaborate with your team to deliver the EYFS curriculum, preparing children for the next stage of their educational journey.
  • Safeguarding: Follow safeguarding policies to keep all children safe, ensuring you are always compliant with the latest safety procedures.
  • Teamwork: Work as part of a motivated team that supports each other to deliver exceptional care and learning experiences for the children.
What We’re Looking For:
  • Level 3 Qualified: You must hold a Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification (or equivalent).
  • Experience: Previous experience working with children in a nursery or early years setting is essential.
  • Passion for Child Development: You should have a genuine interest in fostering children’s growth, development, and progress.
  • Safeguarding Knowledge: A solid understanding of safeguarding and child protection policies is essential.
  • Team Player: You’ll be part of a supportive, collaborative team, so strong communication and teamwork skills are a must.
