We are looking for an exceptional person that would like to make a difference to their community and is interested in pursuing a career in the Fitness and Leisure industry.

Active Community Engagement Ltd runs a fitness centre and we also hire out the school's facilities to community groups outside of school hours.

This supports the local community and sports clubs and helps local people to socialise and stay active.

We are looking for a person who is passionate about helping to get people more physically and socially active in their local community and work towards their level 3 personal trainer qualification.

You must be over 18 years old and have very good communication and customer service skills to deliver an excellent customer experience.

You will be joining a company that cares about you and your personal development allowing you to progress onto PT training, team leader training and more.

In Bristol we have 4 sites including a fitness centre, gymnastics centre, and 4 dual use school sites.

You will be responsible for:

Monitoring the gym floor

Shadowing/ Taking classes and inductions

Helping out with our junior gym and exercise referral programme

Cleanliness of the gym and building

The security of the buildings at these sites including locking and unlocking the building safely and securely.

Making sure the building and equipment is safe for staff and customers

Help to set up equipment for each of the bookings which can consist of many sports including football, basketball, badminton, Futsal and volleyball to name a few.

We have sports halls, dance studio’s, 3G floodlight and MUGA pitches to be hired

The successful candidate will receive free gym membership

The position will be dependent on DBS check paid for by the company
