Role Overview:

Are you a personable and energetic individual with a passion for events and retail? As an Events Retail Assistant at 8Bits, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, managing sales, and maintaining the retail area at our events. Your role will be vital in ensuring a positive shopping experience for event attendees and contributing to the overall success of our events.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and maintain the retail area at events, ensuring it is visually appealing and well-stocked.
  • Greet and assist event attendees with their purchases, providing detailed product information and excellent service.
  • Operate the cash register and handle transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Manage inventory during events, including restocking products and conducting stock checks.
  • Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints professionally and promptly.
  • Assist with merchandising and promotional activities to drive sales and enhance the retail experience.
  • Collaborate with event staff to ensure smooth operations and a cohesive team environment.
  • Follow company policies and procedures regarding sales, returns, and event security.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous experience in retail or customer service, especially in an event setting, is a plus.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
