You could make a difference to someone's day by assisting their discharge from Daisy Hill Hospital in Newry. What does a day in the life of a Support Worker involve?
Acting on referrals from Daisy Hill Hospital to collect patients who are ready for discharge. Transporting patients home using a British Red Cross vehicle. Ensuring patients are settled at home following their hospital discharge.What do you need to be a successful Support Worker?
Are you thoughtful, caring and patient and have a natural way with vulnerable people? Do you some experience of working in a multi-disciplinary setting? Are you able to manage your own workload? Are you IT literate?Please note, there is no personal care or administration of medication required in this role.
